Build an Outdoor Kitchen

We love our new Outdoor Kitchen! We had finally found the right company to do the work and we worked really hard just to find the right Contractor. D global Construction had a lot of great references of this type of work so we went with them. They did an amazing job bringing our backyard to live with the new Outdoor Kitchen. We are thrilled every time we cook and have dinner in the backyard. It is an incredible experience we highly recommend it to others. They finished the work really fast we was a little surprised. They had such great ideas and designs from the start we knew we had choose the right company for the job. At the end of it all we are highly satisfied and highly recommend D Global Construction.

Build an Outdoor Kitchen

The new Outdoor Kitchen with a Pergola is beautiful. D Global Construction did a lot of hard work on it. They finished the project way before everyone was expecting it to be completed. We really enjoy the Outdoor Kitchen experience. It has brought new flavor to our table and home. We highly recommend D Global Construction on your next Pergola or Outdoor Kitchen. Install Brick or Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps

The Backyard is incredible with the new things we got done. Very happy with the outcome. The Patio is incredible. They are very Professional. The pricing is very fair. The End Result in Incredible. Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch

When we completed the deck. We where blown away. The craftsman ship and design was incredible. I canâ t believe they finished so quickly. Normally it takes months but D Global Construction demolished and built us a grand New Deck in no time. We are very impressed with the work. We will be using them again

Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch

Very Clean and professional work. Outstanding service! The Deck is beautiful and the work Was done fast. When we had taken an estimate they outshined other companies and had way more options and ideas. They recommended a few different things, but no pressure. We finally came to the conclusion we wanted a new Ipe Deck. The process, after selecting what we wanted, was smooth and quick. Everything went by pretty quickly and we are more than satisfied with the work. Thanks to D Global Construction the new Deck is the nicest part of our house. Will be using them again, real soon, on the next project and highly recommend.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the state in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Businesses will not be admitted to the network if their owners or principals have the following felonies in their available criminal records*:

Arson

Assault/domestic violence/battery

Child abuse

Intimidation/terrorist threats

Kidnapping/abduction

Lewd and lascivious behavior

Manslaughter/murder/homicide/vehicular homicide

Rape/incest

Robbery/carjacking

Sex offenses

Other felonies not listed above that occurred in the past seven years

Contracting without a license in the past seven years

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened biennially.

How is COVID-19 impacting the HomeAdvisor background check program?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, several government agencies and courts across the country have temporarily closed their offices. While HomeAdvisor will continue its background check program to the extent possible, these closures could prevent some background checks from being performed. Please be advised that, during this period, if we could not perform a background check, HomeAdvisor will allow the business into the network and match the business to consumers. As affected government agencies and courts begin to re-open, we will resume our program in those jurisdictions. As always, we encourage consumers to perform their own research, to the extent possible, before hiring any business.

Licensing

We verify any applicable state-level licenses, and we require every business to attest that they carry the appropriate local licensing to practice their trade. Please note that HomeAdvisor does not confirm local licensing. Do your own research using online ratings, reviews and through phone interviews before hiring a company.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
