All the workers were excellent with work quality. The tile guys were terrific, the stucco excellent, a fine plumber, very good dry wall, etc. No one AJ sent over did subpar work.

If you have ANY type of remodeling, new construction, or renovation work you need accomplished, Cypress Construction should be your first choice to reach out to. AJ Zepeda (the owner) is great to work with and was there for us throughout all of our projects we put Cypress Construction under contract for. If there was anything we were not totally satisfied with, AJ saw to it that his team made it right. The crew that worked on all of our projects were all very skilled and a pleasure to work with. The "Crew" of Alex, Anthony, Andre, Albert, Jonathan and all the rest of the Cypress Construction's "trades" personnel can handle anything you need done. We had a patio refurbishment/remodel project that involved quite a bit of new 2" x 8" beams, 1" x 5" fascia boards, 2" x 6" bird blocking installation, custom stucco work, custom electrical work, painting, and re-roofing that we tasked Cypress Construction to accomplish for us and they did an awesome job on each and every task! We also had to re-roof a portion of the roof over our garage and Andre (the roofing expert) did a fantastic job! If you need your house repainted (which we did), Cypress Construction can successfully accomplish this as well and it will look better than when your house was originally built! The only thing that we didn't particularly like was how the estimates for our projects were put together. The estimates for our projects did not breakout material costs or labor costs to accomplish each task associated with the projects. Just a description of the workscope and the associated price to accomplish it. On the upside, the estimates did very thoroughly describe the scope of the work associated with each task for each project. We did find Cypress Construction higher in price than other contractors that we solicited quotes from. But we decided to give the contract to Cypress Construction based on other Customer reviews, our meetings and conversations with AJ, and knowing that " excellent quality costs money" and " it takes time to accomplish", So overall, we rate Cypress Construction 5 stars out of 5 stars and highly recommend them! We will use Cypress Construction again in the future!

We would highly recommend Cypress Construction. We had a very large remodeling project started in our home and we reached a point where we were ready to get it finished. It involved electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, flooring and other finish work. We had no idea how much it would cost to finish our remodel so we used Angi to get recommendations. Of the six we contacted, only 2 responded. AJ with Cypress Construction came out and met with us to see what we were looking for. We were hoping to get everything finished in 4 rooms and finish 2 other rooms that were nearly done. AJ offered suggestions we had never considered and included them in his estimate. As I stated earlier, we had no idea what his estimate would come back at, especially with the extras we had talked about. After talking with AJ, we felt the estimate would be quite expensive and probably out of our price range. We were very pleasantly surprised, even shocked at the estimate. We could have all we wanted plus more at a cost we could afford. As I said earlier, we met with 2 contractors, Cypress and another contractor. We wanted to compare estimates, so we tried to get the same work done on both estimates, ie. apples to apples. The estimates came in about $400 apart. Each estimate took a different avenue to arrive at their final figure but ended up only $400 apart. We were comfortable with both contractors and their estimates but chose Cypress because we liked AJ and his ideas and suggestions. It took about 6 weeks to finish our project. We are so happy with how it turned out, parts of which were beyond what we were hoping for. All of the tradesmen Cypress used and there were many, were friendly, professional and skilled at there crafts. We would gladly recommend any of them. The only negative we had was a periodic lack of communication. There were times we expected someone to show up and no one did but this allowed us to “take a breath” and get other things done. We stayed in the house while all the construction was going on, demo, drywall etc. so we dealt with a lot of dirt and dust. Cypress did what they could to control the dust and we appreciated that. As a final and most important note, the estimate came in exactly as stated and not a penny more. Our experience with Cypress was all we could have expected and we would highly recommend Cypress Construction and would use them again. I apologize for the lengthy review but I hope it might be helpful for anybody looking for a good honest contractor.

Beautiful, custom work! AJ and his crew were very helpful and professional. Others quotes we tried always tried to talk us out of what we wanted, to make it easier on them. AJ and his crew did everything to our specs with helpful suggestions along the way. The kitchen is gorgeous. Thanks to everyone involved in making this difficult kitchen happen, we are very happy.

AJ, the guy in charge, was great to work with in planning and costing out the planned project. The people who did the work did a fine job and had us inspect their work before they left.

Awesome company. Weâ re almost done with our patio/porch covering and we couldnâ t be more than impressed. The owner is awesome and all those who work for him are amazing too. We look forward to working with this company on other projects we have coming up that we plan on doing.

We have now used AJ and his roofing/handyman company for two complete roof replacements and 2 roof repair jobs. The first roof repair job AJ stepped in to correct errors made by a different roofer who "disappeared" when a home inspector called out the work. AJ came in on short notice and saved the deal, the house closed on time. The first roof replacement did not have any surprises and was completed quickly and expertly, plus comes with a 5 year warranty. The second roof replacement had an extremely steep roof and presented many surprises for everyone. AJ kept us informed of his findings and did an expert job in correcting all of the issues for a reasonable price. Despite all the unexpected work he was able to complete the job and the house closed on time. The second roof repair also had a few small surprises which AJ was easily able to handle at a very reasonable price. As Realtors and Investors we rely on Good Quality Workmanship by the contractors that we hire. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND AJ and will use him again for future jobs. Jerry and Kristi
