Mark has successfully completed many jobs for me over the years. Rebuilt my garage when the footings gave in, completely rebuilt my porch, and numerous other jobs Iâ  m currently having Mark replace my deck Mark is extremely skilled at a fair and reasonable price

5.0 Jon H. Glen Allen, VA

Mark helped us update and repair, where necessary, our Historic Fan District home for sale.. The work included plastering, drywall repairs, floor refinishing, painting, deck repairs and fencing replacement. The work was completed while we were still in residence. He and his workers were polite and considerate, not disruptive while working around us.. His work was excellent, impressed our real estate agent, reasonably priced and resulted in a successful sale. We highly recommend Mark Hooper and Construction Services of Virginia!

    0.50 Gerald L. Henrico, VA

Construction Services of Virginia has been working on this one room addition with bath and deck for 9-10 months now and it is not closed-in with roof, windows, doors, siding, electricity and water as per completion of phase 2.  Mr Hooper said three months to finish at the start in January. His voicemail is usually full and he seldom calls back. He wants to quit at stage two rather than finish job thru stage 4.  He has not finished stage two which we have paid for. We have paid $12500 and $15000.  We have treated him nice with use of the fridge for ice and water, bathroom use, power from inside home use of ladders, extra wood, etc. until he could not get it done in 9 months.  His quality of workmanship is pretty good but he fails to get much done. It has rained and leaked on this unprotected building and floor 50+ times. Wood is showing water damage and likely mold is a problem.  He will not call and has hung up on me. Has let shingles sit for 2 + weeks now and his yard work area is a mess, we cannot cut the foot high grass with a mower but have tried several times with string cutters but it is too tough and high.  His prime excuse is COVID19 which has caused the additional 6-7 month delay.  He could not get skylights so we removed them from project, offered to get the shower stall from Lowes and to gather the supplies he needs bring them from Philadelphia to Baltimore or DC but he turned that down.  Work is at an absolute stop now and for weeks....Update 9/20/21..... Quit the the job after long delays about 25% through. Have a a law suit filled now

The finish project looks great. Mark was pretty good in giving you ideas to get the results you wanted. They were a week outside of schedule. And I live in MD. the job was in VA. sometimes getting in touch was a problem. Overall I was satisfied and would use them again.
