I own a property from quite a distance away and needed to replace a failing railroad tie retaining wall. I had a massive amount of anxiety about this issue due to the fact that dealing with contractors from a distance can be a daunting task for numerous reasons trust pricing, and the list goes on and on. I was extremely fortunate to quote with this company through Angies list. I checked five companies for pricing and design, the pricing request, and the visuals that they gave me for the project were extremely professional. The pricing was very fair and their customer service is exceptional. I do read some of these reviews sometimes and wonder if they are put up there by the contractors themselves. However, this is a genuine one and I cannot say enough about the job that this team did on my property, the wall is absolutely gorgeous. They did it in incredibly timely and on-time manner other quotes that I received had the project going 4 to 6 weeks. This team was able to complete the project in one week as well as repair the grass area where their equipment had to come through in a fantastic and beautiful manner. this wall was approximately 110 feet long and 8 feet high. In addition to Angies, I will also be posting a review of this company on yelp, along with pictures of before and after again, I am not on site at this property. It is at home I own, and I have not been there in a while but I keep looking at the wall that they built for me and Im amazed at how beautiful it is. Jimmy, who is one of the partners was extremely communicative and kept me in touch with the process all along the way, including videos, live time with the work as it was proceeding if you are looking for somebody to do stonework that is incredibly professional does beautiful work offers great customer service. This is absolutely the firm you have to go with. Jimmy provided me with references and I did actually call out on several of them and received rave reviews for their work. I cant recommend this firm more highly and plan on engaging them in projects again going forward.!
The work was great from quote to delivery. They were professional and very customer focused. They were always asking my preference for little things and got the job done timely and very high quality.
Project was a replacement modular block retaining wall and concrete driveway repair both completed per agreement. Excellent wall replacement. Driveway work above average
Excellent job at reasonable price
Save yourself a ton of time and money Do not hire them The job is worse than if I did it to me Discolored and spotted concrete Not level, super wavy Not finished smooth
Mr. Alvin S. ended up with a brand new decorative retaining wall around his pool. We also saved this family thousands of dollars on a pool repair that no one wanted to find a way to repair. We went out of our way to assist them for an agreed amount $600+ which Mr. Alvin did not honor. Twice he owed us money and did not pay. Leaving thousands and thousands of dollars with no pay. We have all communication history with this client as well as his wife Allison S. via text messages and emails. We took many pictures and videos of the before, during and after. At the end, we ended up saving Mr. Alvin over $10,000 to replace his in-ground pool which had sunken 8" in the deep end. No pool contractor wanted to help Alvin straighten up the pool without having to replace it entirely. Both parties reached out to pool contractors in the area and NO ONE offered a solution. Finally, we offered a solution to increase the pool skeleton 8" upwards at the deep end by utilizing Epoxy chemicals which comes in liquid form and dries like concrete. The repairs were successful, and the water levels were smoothened out throughout the entire pool. Mr. Alvin and Allison did not even pay for this work, which they had agreed to. Why did not you pursue legal action? Is a question frequently asked the answer. Contact us for the answer, details of the entire project, pictures, and video of the final job you be the judge of the final product we did for this family. See how nice Mr. Alvin and Allison pool look including their retaining wall.
Price was very good, it was some delay on the project but it was because shortage supply. My neighbors saw what they did on my house and hire them to expand their driveway.
Show up on time, had everything ready for when the Concrete truck showed up. Once it arrive they got it poured, smoothed and completed by the end of the day.
.
No surprises, good attention to detail. I'm happy.
