Hired for a residential painting job for 3 bedrooms. Had to decrease the scope b/c of schedules/timing. I prepaid 50% prior to the start of job. The day the job was completed, with wet paint still on the walls, this contractor was forcing me to pay him the remainder on the spot. I did out of trust. Sure enough cracks in the paint in 2 of the bedrooms. He said he would come back to fix but he did not come back. Very unprofessional, frankly felt bullied by him into the 2nd payment. I wont be using this company for services. Money grubby instead of satisfying customers.

Richard and his crew are incredible! After trying to tackle popcorn ceiling removal ourselves (and breaking a wrist in the process, ugh), Chifla R Painting saved the day. Within two weeks of giving us a quote for removing the popcorn, applying skim coats, and painting the ceilings and walls, Richard had a crew of guys on-hand to get the job done fast. They were flexible with the color palette (separate colors in the bedrooms vs common areas) - and they brought an electrician to install new lights and ceiling fans, as well as update the outlets and wall plates. Our home is beautiful because of their skill and expertise. Do not hesitate to call them!

Simply awesome to work with! We've had bad experiences with other contractors, but Tony is top shelf. His prices were reasonable, he did the work in a timely manner, his crew was respectful, and Tony went above and beyond to work with us not only on drywall but also on priming, interior painting, and installing gutters. We will definitely use him in the future. Great job!

Great to work with! Arrived on time

The job was to replace a section of drywall on one wall and another in the ceiling damaged by a plumbing break. I had cleared away all the damaged material, so all they had to do was replace the drywall and make it "paint ready". They were supposed to use 1/2" drywall to match the existing surfaces; instead they used 3/8" which meant some wavy spackling where new and old surfaces joined. I had to patch-spackle in several areas afterwards, but overall, considering the ridiculously low price, it was passable.

It was a pleasure dealing with Tony and his crew. They were very polite, punctual, and finished all work to our satisfaction. We will call Tony and his crew in the spring to do additional work for us.

Let me start by saying that my home has never been properly painted since I moved in in 1989. Chifla exceeded my expectations. Prep work is so important and it wasn't easy for them to repair what others had screwed up previously. They also took care of carpentry work I needed done. I plan on using them again for interior work. Right from the start, they were honest, hard working, polite, clean and timely. Thank you AGAIN Chifla...and Thank You Home Advisor for all that you do.

We have a wooden house in a planned community and must paint on a certain schedule. Wood is 30 years old and not in great shape. This is the best paint job we have had in the 23 years we have lived here. Tony filled and spackled, fixed wood and generally prepped so well that when the paint went on it looked like new wood!
