Reviews
Write a ReviewWas quick and effective, very helpful and friendly. Felt a little pricy, but I haven’t had plumbing needs for a while so I might have unreasonable expectations.
The technician was very informative and helpful. He fully explained everything to me before we proceeded with the work. The cost was a bit on the high side but the work was done very well.
Very polite, very professional. I was happy with the craftsman who came to our home and replaced 3 commodes in a matter of hours. Did the work quickly and competently, and cleaned everything up before departing. All in all, a great experience.
Nothing
The technician did a nice job on both of my requirements. He also provided photos of he work he did as well as quotes for work I am contemplating.
We hired them because we had no hot water in two showers. They came and immediately went to the water tanks and said they needed to be replaced because the house was 15 years old. They then after the job wanted to leave the old tanks outside in our backyard during the hurricane. The next morning, still no hot water in the two showers. They would not tell us the owner of the company's name when we called to speak to the owner, and scheduled a different technician to come back and look at the showers. He came and changed two cartridges in the showers, and then we finally had hot water. We asked why they did not do that step first before switching out functioning water tanks. Then our sink stopped producing hot water after their install, a new issue that did not exist until they did their work. They came, shut the water to the sink, and did not fix it. The toilets and sinks in our other bathrooms began to fill with gravel after use. The company gave us a four hour window the next day to be fixed. They never showed. When I called, the company said, "We can not help you with these problems. It is not related to our work". If I could summarize what happened, they made our problems worse. We received no paperwork, no proposals, no contracts, nothing in writing. Buyer beware! Do your research!
John, our plumber, was profession, skilled, transparent in his work, and communicative. We look forward to his continuing work for us.
Good experience--got the job done quickly and with little mess or disruption.
Good service and have the problem fixed promptly
You do not find out how much it will cost until they are already here. I should have paid him the $89 service fee for showing up and then sent him away. I think $384/hour is way too much money to fix a pinhole leak in a pipe and replace an adjacent cutoff valve next to the pinhole leak. Both problems were within a foot of each other, on an easily accessed pipe in my basement furnace room, on the pipe going to my outside to my hose bib. The total cost charged was $864. The guy that did the work did a very good job. The work is said to be guaranteed. I just should have said no.
