Charlie's Paving

Charlie's paving did our drive June of 2023. I called in November to let him know of multiple cracks in drive. It is now August of 2024, no Charlie, he has never gotten back with me on a repair date. My driveway has many cracks, and grass growing up on the sides. Beware of flashy car and high pressure sales pitch. I have now repaired my drive. All cracks are filled. This at my cost! Just want all to know there is NO customer follow up with charlie. It's on to the next job. I'm out 17,000.00 on a driveway tha now looks 10 years old. BEWARE!!!

Very professional local company did a great job would use again

We had a large, badly cracked driveway resurfaced. I waited to see how this job held up to a northern Ohio winter. I am pleased to report it held up beautifully. They came on time, worked efficiently and brought all the small and large equipment needed. Charlie and the workers were courteous and cleaned up nicely when done. They did all that was promised actually better than I had hoped. They even suggested a little extra and did it with no additional charge. I was impressed how Charlie included his son in the project. The boy worked hard and watched for ways to step into a need without being prompted to. Beware when reading reviews. There are other "Charlie's Paving" out-of-state that were posted on this Ohio based business's website.

Did a great job and did it in the timeframe they promised

They promised to repair the drainage problem at the entrance to our property but now, it worse than before they started.

We hired them to install our driveway. They came out at the end of April. Their work is not top quality. No instructions or anything upon leaving. They broke one of the tools of my husband, (they came unprepared). Left a piece of rebar in our grass (to be hit the following day with the lawnmower). Their spreader caught fire in our grass. The final straw is that we already have weeds growing through the asphalt, it is only been 10 weeks since it was installed. I have been looking at it and saying you get what you pay for. When we asked them about the weeds, they told us that even asphalt would not stop weeds never had this problem at my other house) and pour bleach on it and that will kill it.

They came back over and over again trying to push us into getting the drive sealed. We had paid them an extra $700 or $800 for a seal that they said would be good for a few years and we wouldn't have to do any further sealing for awhile. The new drive was only 1 year old. Didn't appreciate their "high pressure" sales pitch. They became very annoying and wouldn't take no for an answer. We eventually blocked our drive so they couldn't pull in. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!
