Central Valley Landscaping

Central Valley Landscaping abandoned our project after taking 90% of the contract price and only completing about 50% of the work. We originally signed our contract in February of 2022 and work began in April with a completion date of September 2022. After 3 months, they started coming less and less and just offered more and more excuses. Eventually the owner told us that he spent all our money on capital equipment and he didn't have enough money to pay his workers or sub-contractors. He said that he really wanted to get our work done and gave us a new schedule with a completion date of early June. He had 1 worker show up 4 different times between January 1st and May 2nd, then abandoned the project completely and has his phone turned off for the last 3 weeks.

Gilbert told us our project would take three months. After a year, we are not even 20% done, and he has abandoned the project. He took 85% of all our money for the entire contract, and we now have no materials and are unable to contact him to complete the rest of the construction. I have seen many reviews on other sites with the same complaints about him. He does not return calls, and the work he has done will need to be redone as the quality is not good.

The quality, promptness and price were excellent. They friendly and courteous. I have a small dog and they were thoughtful to let know when they needed to open gate so she would not get out of the yard.

Gilbert (Central Valley Landscaping) did a wonderful job landscaping at my house. The quality was top notch and the crew was experienced and professional. Iâ d highly recommend. My new yard saves a lot of water with much less maintenance and my utility bills have decreased substantially. I have the nicest yard on my street and have Gilbert to thank for that.

CVL worked with me to design and install my backyard. A major project that included turf, boulders, mature trees, substantial cement work and bbq w island. They also built a fire pit and two large planters. The work Is quality and beautiful. I have enjoyed sharing my new space with neighbors, family and friends. All are impressed with the design.
