Reviews
Write a ReviewI hired Nathaniel to see if my carpet could be stretched. I specifically started to that if he thought the carpet should be replaced, I did not want to waste money on stretching. We agreed on a date and time. He came earlier than agreed and I had not gotten off work. My husband was home and Mr. Miller performed the work, OVERCHARGED me for a poorly done job, only later to tell me that the carpet was dry rotted and needed to be placed (which was not the case at all). When I confronted him with his he did not do as agreed upon, and requested a refund based on his guarantee policy of a refund, if not satisfied, he became very angry. Nathaniel made hurtful, rude statements and hung on the phone. He called back to apologize and I reminded him of the refund police. I told him that I had gone to the trouble of obtaining a second opinion on the carpet and his work, in an effort to be fair. Bottom line, never received the refund, got the work redone by another company who did a stellar job!
Quoted one thing and came at a higher price. Carpet did not match. Still see the seams were repaired. Hiring someone else to fix what he did
They did a good job for me. The Berber carpet was harder to stretch than other types of carpet.
Mr. Miller was the consummate professional, who was timely upon arrival and he performed exceptional service.
Quick response, knowledgeable
He was not transparent in the price he said it was 150 when he showed up he charged more.
Was on time for the scheduled appointment and finished the job quickly. Very satisfied.
Mr. Nathaniel made me feel very uncomfortable hiring him to fix my property carpet. He started at $150 and increased leading up to leaving the property. We communicated and texted he stated it would be no more than what we agreed to. The day of I asked if I could grant him access to the home but he insisted that I be there. Once we met I had my husband meet with him and he was surprised and asked if he would be able to see me. I am unsure as to why that matters Once working he increase the price and stated that I did not tell him the perimeter of the room After I sent pictures and texted him to confirm on price. In every conversation I had with Mr. Nathaniel I used your words â Perimeter of the room he then stops and stated he was not going to finish unless we pay him more. I do not like confrontation nor do I like to disrespect my elders The job was completed but very uncomfortable encounter!! I would not recommend it!!!
The cost quoted was exceptionally high for the roughly 30 minutes of work. The pad he put in did not match the height or quality of the existing pad already in half the room and the difference was visible in the carpet and could feel it when you walked on it. The pad was scrap from another job. I would have hored someone else but was on a tight schedule to have the work done that day due to furniture move in. The seam at the closet door was also noticeable. Not recommending for future work. As an Architect, i do recognize i have high industry standards.
Very nice and he knows his job well and fairly prices his work i would rehire him if needed very satisfied
