Nelson and his crew did an outstanding job replacing and painting some damaged drywall. He is very knowledgeable and won't leave until the work is perfect. I highly recommend Calix and would not hesitate to use them again.

We contacted Nelson after finding his business through Angi. We were in a time crunch to get our ceiling fixed up since we are in the process of selling our home and we are wanted to get the house on the market ASAP. We reached out on Thursday, and by Wednesday of the following week the job was complete! Not only did they do a great job, but the communication was quick and thorough and he made sure we were happy with the results. If we were staying in the area we would definitely hire Calix Painting Corp again!

We hired Calix Painting to remove popcorn ceilings and paint interior of our house. We are very, very pleased with the final results. Nelson is a very skilled craftsman in sheetrock and paint. He goes well beyond the normal to make sure the job is done right and that we were pleased with it. We were not looking forward to the disruption of normal life by the process, but the way Calix approached our 2-story house in different stations, completed each station before moving to the next station and kept everything organized and clean made the house very livable while they worked. This company painted my living room, dining room and foyer. They put up crown molding in all three plus the kitchen and added a chair rail to the dining room. They also did some exterior painting. They were meticulous started and finished on schedule and reasonably priced. I would hire them again and strongly recommend them.

Calix Painting has brought new life to an old home and I am so grateful to have found them.. They removed the popcorn ceiling, old trim, spackled and patched damaged walls, primed and painted the entire interior and installed all new trim and baseboard. His pricing was upfront, with no surprises. And, when I had an upset in a scheduled floor removal with another vendor, Nelson stepped up to offer the additional service and completed it without any further delay to my overall project. I highly recommend him and his team, they are worth every penny.

I also hired Nelson to paint my bathrooms, living rooms, and do drywall repairs for the walls and ceilings. He was an absolute professional and a pleasure to work with. On top of being outstanding at his job, he also did everything in his power to squeeze me in when I called him to come back and do more work. I would absolutely recommend hiring Nelson, and I myself am a repeat customer.

Being new to the Cayton area we didn't have anyone we knew to remove the popcorn ceilings and wallpaper in our recently purchased home. We read reviews of different companies and Calix stood out with the many positive reviews. After hiring Nelson and working with him on this and another subsequent project I can say without a doubt he's the best we've worked with. It's amazing how clean he keeps things during this very messy popcorn ceiling removal. He's a perfectionist and it shows in the quality of his work. He also gets back with you when he says he will and shows up on the agreed upon time (which is unique these days). We will definitely hire him again on any drywall and painting project.

Nelson is a very conscientious carpenter. We had him do a couple of jobs for us. He removed popcorn from bathroom ceiling. It turned out great. He also repaired walls and painted 3 rooms for us. All of his work is top quality, he went above and beyond our expectations. We will call him again for any work we need done.

I understand why Calix Painting is very busy! Never have I had work done in my home where the area stayed organized and clean throughout the entire 4 days that they worked here. One of the days it rained and they put down a towel to prevent tracking water in on my hardwood floor and carpet. Not only did I have to have part of my ceiling removed and replaced, but the entire room also needed to be painted. The paint job was huge but the results are absolutely phenomenal. Not a 'mistake' in sight and it is perfect. The transition from the main room color to the accent wall is so well executed. They did little things, such as cleaning the wall plates, that shocked me and it was just 1 of the many 'special touches' that I appreciated. The cost of the job was extremely fair, considering the scope, it did not exceed my budget, and his estimate on how long to finish the job was right on time! The professionalism, work ethic, and job execution are top level and they deserve more than just 5 stars!!! I will definitely be contacting Calix Painting Corp for future drywall and painting projects as I prepare my house to be put on the market.
