Write a ReviewProblem solved hopefully! We had a red tag issued because a leak in our gas fireplace. Two technicians came, assessed, and explained what had to be done. The work was done in a reasonable time. During the entire process, they were more than willing to answer all our questions. The owner, called two days later to see if we were satisfied and assured us that the ?red tag? was satisfied. So far, so good. Would definitely use them again.
Quick response and excellent service!
Quick response got it done fast two different houses
I am always skeptical of contractors but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and customer service. The technicians were extremely professional and courteous. They repaired a punctured gas line and pressure tested the entire system. They were flexible with my schedule and got everything I was promised. They are definitely on my gore again list.
THANKS AGAIN ,GLAD TO HELP YOU
Baybreeze came out and gave us an estimate right away, and then they got to our job very quickly. They were professional, neat, and very easy to work with. They installed a fire pit and changed out a hot water heater for us. I would hire them again and will!
They came quickly, completed the work compently, and charged a reasonable fee
Good communication, quality work, and just all around good guys. Would definitely recommend!
Replaced old gas piping
Robin at Baybreeze made a shocking number of mistakes when hired to fix an exterior gas leak, dragging out what should have been done in 3 days to a full 3 weeks. After â fixingâ the leak the first time, we learned from the city that his work failed inspection, and the lines were still leaking. After â fixingâ it a second time, VBG turned our gas back on, but the technician discovered an uncapped line spilling out beneath our deck. Had the technician not caught this and corrected Robinâ s negligence, the consequences could have easily been catastrophic for us. After coming out a third time, the leaks were finally fixed and the lines capped, but he proceeded to install a valve heâ d removed earlier for no clear reason (it wasnâ t the one leaking) in the wrong spot, and we ended up once again with gas cut off to our gas pack furnace, and our tankless water heater. After all of this was finally settled, he proceeded to overcharge us by about $250 above what weâ d agreed upon, citing the cost of a second pressure test (a test that would not have been necessary had he simply done his job right the first, or even second time around). Robin was full of excuses at every turn, but all in all, based on my experience he and his company did not demonstrate the competence or reliability necessary to safely work on natural gas. I feel he left my home and my family at risk, and I cannot recommend that anyone hire him in the future.
FIRST OF ALL, I CAME OUT ON THE 30TH OF JANUARY , LOCATED LEAKS ON 3/4 LINE TO GAS PACK OUTSIDE ,VNG HAD FOUND WHEN SERVICING METER , AND TURNED YOUR GAS OFF AND LOCKED METER , I DID MAKE REPAIRS THAT DAY , THE METER HAD 2 LINES ,PUT PRESSURE GAUGES ON BOTH LINES AND HELD ,CALLED IN FOR INSPECTION AND GASLINE TO REAR DECK GAUGE HAD DROPPED OVERNIGHT,BUT LINE TO GAS PACK WAS GOOD , AND INSPECTOR SEEN A CSST LINE WHICH RAN TO REAR DECK WHICH WAS NOT BONDED WHEN LINE WAS INSTALLED AND FAILED PRESSURE TEST DO TO LEAK IN THE LINE SO THE CSST HAD TO BE REMOVED AND NEW LINE RAN TO DECK IN COPPER FOR A PRESSURE TEST ON JUST THAT LINE ,AND YES I DID A EMPLOYEE THAT DID NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND INSTALL A GAS VALVE ON GAS LINE AFTER TANKLESS THAT IS WHY THE LINE WAS LEAKING AT TIME OF PRESSURE TEST OVER NIGHT IT HAD LEAKED DOWN , WHEN VNG CAME OUT TO UNLOCK METER , THEY TOOK OFF THE CAP ON THE LINE WHICH HAD TO BE REPLACED THAT RAN TO REAR DECK AND CONNECTED BACK AT METER , THAT LINE WAS LEFT OPEN DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT WASNT INSTALLED CORRECTLY , FIRST NO BONDING AND A GAS WHIP UNDER THE DECK WOULD NOT BE UP TO CODE AND HAD TO BE RE WORKED BEFORE IT WOULD PASS INSPECTION , THE ONLY DANGER YOU WAS IN HAPPENED WHEN GAS COMPANY HOOKED UP LINE THAT WAS LEAKING , THE CITY INSPECTOR WANTED TO KNOW WHO HOOKED UP THE LINE TO THE METER BEFORE IT WAS INSPECTED ,WELL THAT IS BETWEEN CITY AND VNG ., YOUR HEAT WAS ON NEXT DAY AND YOUR TANKESS WAS WORKING,AND YES VNG CAPPED A LINE BUT IT WAS STILL LEAKING ELSE WHERE , AS FAR AS LINE WE REPLACED AND GOT INSPECTED 10 DAYS FROM FIRST REPAIR , THE LINE WAS TOO A FIRE PIT AND A LINE THAT ENDS IN THE FLOWER BED , DURING THE WINTER WHEN ITS COLD WE TRY TO PROVIDE HEAT AND HOT WATER TO THE CUSTOMER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE , THE LINE THAT NEEDED REPLACED THERE WAS A DELAY DUE TO WEATHER AND IT WAS A TOTAL OF 10 DAYS BEFORE LINE WAS REPLACED TO THE REAR DECK AND INSPECTED , SO YOU RECIEVED A 30 FT COPPER GAS LINE AND TWO NEW REGULATORS , MISC, FITTINGS WITH LABOR FOR $250.00 .BUT SORRY YOU THAT WAY AND GOOD LUCK IN FUTURE.
Called on Thursday. Came out on Friday, did what I needed done. Would definitely use them again.
