Bath Planet of South Bend

Excellent experience from start to finish. Sales person was very professional, knowledgeable, and not "pushy". The installers were prompt, hard-working, and respectful of our home. The end result is beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend BathPlanet.

I was on a very tight budget and the sales professional, Anthony, worked well to ensure they could meet our needs and budget.

They did a great job, and it didn't take very long at all. They were here are 8am and left around 3:30pm. Both people were very nice and laid down smocks to protect my floors. They even worked around the inspector coming in half way though the job to make sure it was up to code. There was even a tricky part where the tub tile connected to the wall tile and they were able to put in the acrylic wall so that the wall tile matched up with the new acrylic wall.

We went with Bath Planet after a good quote for our shower remodel. We specified our options with the initial salesperson and everything was OK. When the installer came to begin work, they brought the wrong material. Although the installers questioned the material they proceeded with the demolition. We told the installers to stop to get clarification on the different material with their manager. We talked with Kevin, their manager and were told there was basically nothing we could do about it. We found this response unacceptable and asked for his manager but would not provide that for us. He also told the installer to proceed the install with the wrong material sent, however the installer refused to do so because we insisted that that was not what we signed and paid for. We went to the bath planet website and found the owner, Dmitri. We tried to get a hold of Dmitri and at first we were told it was hard to contact him, but in a few days we were able to tell him our concerns. He was able to visit the worksite and gave us some options in a professional and courteous manner. We approved the change in our initial work order and went ahead with the remodel. The remodelers came a few weeks later and installed the shower fine. However, when the glass material arrived, it had the wrong measurements. Although we were not sure about the discrepancy, this set back the final install a few weeks. Because of the delay, Dmitri offered us a discount. Finally the correct shower glass door arrived and the final install was good. Although they provided a good price and finished the work fine, the treatment we received from Kevin and the issues we encountered during the process lowered our rating of bath planet.

Great work at a great price.

I was told this project would take 5 days. We are in the third week and problems are mounting. A pipe is leaking water from the shower down to me first floor. The owner stated they don't check for this type of thing. I was told that all the workers were licensed plumbers. That is not the case. Another problem that occured earlier with the plumbing. They sent someone from another comnpany to repair (new shower wasn't working). Additionally they dry walled before they installed the sink faucet which goes into the wall. They want me to pay extra to open up the wall. I would not recomment this comnpany to anyone.

The job went very well. They did what they said they were going to do . They kept to the estimate they gave us and the quality was wonderful.
