Reviews
Write a ReviewBasic Concept designed and built a deck in our back yard and did an entire kitchen remodel for our home. We had some different ideas when we first contacted Charles but he was able to see what was possible and make great suggestions to fit our wishes, space, and budget. All of the workers that came to our home were very skilled, polite, and professional. They made sure that all work was done completely and correctly, no shortcuts. Charles was very involved in every aspect of the project. He is a great communicator and coordinated all the work and deliveries very efficiently. While I'm sure the size of our kitchen and deck would seem insignificant to some, we were made to feel like VIPs. Everyone treated our home with dignity and respect. High quality products and workmanship. Our house looks great. We are very pleased. We highly recommend Basic Concept.
Superb workmanship from Basic Concept Interiors, who were able to incorporate design elements that other contractors declined to implement. Basic Concept assisted me in remodeling and renovating a century old house bath from a tub/shower to a shower. Their care of my property and fastidiousness during the construction was greatly appreciated.
This company did a great job on our Bathroom. They were prompt and upfront regarding costs. They worked fast and the job was completed soon that I anticipated. I would recommend this company.
We had a terrible experience with this *design* and build firm. I had posted a detailed review on another recommendation site and then received a letter from their attorney threatening to sue me if I did not take it down. Makes me wonder if their reviews on these sites are not skewed by similarly aggressive action with other unhappy customers? Suffice it to say, our interactions with them left us to question their honesty and integrity, and we decided to end our work with them a few months into the interaction, even though that forced us to move into a temporary condo and restart the project with another builder. You have been warned. Hire at your own risk.
These clients were the most deceitful our firm had ever seen in over 40 years of being in business. They misled us about their budget. The husband was so condescending to his highly educated physician wife we found it unbearable being around the husband. His arrogance and sense of entitlement was more than we were able to deal with. We terminated our contract with them. Not to mention, they had to move into temporary accommodations because they could not make decisions and took three months to pick kitchen cabinets. The other builder was an associate of ours and we later found out they were 150K over budget and six months behind from their move in date. Our 40 years in business speaks for itself................ C
The General Contractor was very good at working with our schedule, and when a problem arose with initial plumbing installation he immediately took responsibility and brought the plumber and tilers back to fix the problem at no cost to us. A special thanks to John and Vince, who did a beautiful job on the tile installation.
They worked around my schedule and they were very professional.
Good job, happy with the work went above and beyond what was required. Staff was very professional
