Wonderful to work with Jack and Tom. They gave me a set price and immediately put my carpentry project on their schedule. They refinished and repaired treads on 30 year old floating staircase when others wanted to replace with new. Wood was cracked and full of nail and staple holes. They recognized the wood is high quality white oak and worth salvaging however! They are professional, responsible, considerate and detailed in their work. True craftsman who love what they do. The steps looks exquisite! I'm super happy and impressed. I would hire them again.

This is a repeat hire for me. Jack & Tom of Barnett Woodworks are wonderful, professional & reliable. They custom built new, affordable cabinets for me. Brought samples of stains, designs. Even as little problems appeared in my older condo, they fixed these, even offering suggestions, so these could be easily addressed. If you desire perfection from workers that don't rush through projects to get them done, these gentlemen are amazing.

We had to have half our back porch removed and rebuilt (that part was left by previous owner and was not up to code). Jack Barnett gave us a great quote, was easy to work with, and the new porch is indistinguishable from the half that the builder had put on the house originally - that is, it looks great. I may have him do some more work for us, too.

I searched around for a local carpenter to install a bay window bench with drawer and bookshelves. Jack quoted us a competitive price so we went with Barnett Woodworks as we also liked some of the pictures of his previous work. The install had to be done in 2 waves as he had to make a custom template for the bench top once the rest of the furniture was in place. He wasn't sure he was going to get it done in a single piece and I told him that was okay. To my surprise, he attempted the single pice top, which was much more difficult of an install, and it turned out beautifully! I highly recommend using Barnett Woodworks for your customer cabinetry needs. Jack has lots of good ideas and obviously many years of experience.
