They had great ideas over the basic plans I had. They were the only place that made drawings of the work that was proposed. The price was the best.

I like Mike's reputation, experience, and ability to listen to my plan and translate that into a Computer Aided Design blueprint, suitable for submitting to my HOA. His ability to speak intelligently about all the aspects of a desert-friendly landscaping installation gave me the confidence to hire him. He did not hurry through the installation, but rather worked methodically through each stage to get it right. He removed existing grass, changed sprinklers to a drip system, and installed new plants and decorative rock. He did everything we contracted for, and I'm very happy with how the project turned out. I'd gladly hire him again for another project.

The work he did was good, however, he was supposed to replace 2 dead plants and the lights he installed and we paid extra for stopped working after 2 /12 weeks. He is not responding to phone calls or messages. I just want the plants replaced and the lights fixed.

Plants were replaced already once. The two plants in question died after aphid infestation. The homeowner was notified of aphid infestation prior to death of plants and death is not related to contractor neglect. We will still replace the two plants, but the time period had 110+ temps and is not advisable to replace. The lighting is a 25yr+ system the customer wanted approximately 22 additional lights added. The customer sourced the lights out themselves and fixture placement was by homeowner. The lights worked approx 2 weeks and one zone stopped working. This is common on upgrades to existing systems 15yrs+. I did not bid the lights and just

I am currently waiting for HOA approvals to move forward with the work. Mike was on time for each meeting and never missed a deadline to provide professional drawings for review and submission. He provided several different elevations for me to submit. I am very excited to get started on the installation. Based on the design phase, I would definitely recommend Backyard Escapes and More.
