Our entire experience with them was amazing from start to finish. The whole team all has such excellent customer service!! The price was the most competitive estimate we got. Pedro was very responsive and communicated throughout the entire project. We had new concrete steps poured, a deck torn down/new patio poured, and an asphalt driveway torn up and new concrete driveway poured. It was perfectly graded away from our house to keep water away (a problem we had before). We have had multiple neighbors ask who completed our driveway since they finished. He even returned late in the evening one day to help assist installing rails on our new concrete steps. We would hire him again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend him.

It worked out very well to choose Pedro and Barrera construction for the replacement of my driveway. I met with about six different companies and got a very competitive estimate from Barrera. Other estimates were up to two times higher! Pedro was very responsive by text during the contract arrangement. The crew showed up on time on the scheduled date. As Pedro had promised, they had all the equipment that they needed to demolish and haul away my old asphalt and concrete driveway. Pedro himself was usually on site and even when he was not, the crew seemed to know exactly what to do and go about it in industrious fashion. After one day, the old driveway was gone and most of the forms for the new one were built with the gravel base in place. On day two, the forms were finished, concrete was poured with reinforcing wire mesh and after a couple hours, the forms were removed to complete the job. Over the next few days, I got a lot of positive comments about the new driveway from passersby and I was happy to recommend Barrera construction to a few people who asked specifically what company had done the job. My new driveway is a huge improvement and I'm grateful that working with Barrera was such a good experience.

Pedro rebuilt my front concrete steps and poured a parking pad. The workers and Pedro were AWESOME and the work is high quality! I am so pleased. What a nice crew! The work exceeded my expectations.

I had received a few quotes on a 12x24x4 pool pad. When I was contacted by Pedro (Berrera) I had become aware that the area needed for the pool was really quite larger than 12 x24 and had Pedro quote me on a 18x29x4. His quote was $400 less than the other quotes for the 12x24x4. I had a patio that was cracked extensively and he gave me a quote on replacing it and the steps that had broken free from the house which I accepted. He then noticed that where my driveway met the garage apron the driveway was almost a foot higher than the apron and quoted me on removing the last section of driveway and smoothing the transition with a sloped section. I accepted! Then I remembered that I had two automobiles totaled while parked on my garage apron and numerous hits also, some hit and runs. I explained this to Pedro and we agreed to build a concrete wall along my property that would prevent that from happening again! We love everything they constructed! Everyone Pedro employs are craftsmen that seem to enjoy and take pride in their work. They were to a man courteous and willing to explain things and help in other ways. We needed dirt in our front yard and we began toting buckets of dirt to fill it in and one of his employees digging the dirt offered to place dirt with his front loader for us. I wanted a pvc pipe placed in the concrete to allow our sump pump to discharge in the side yard outside the wall. Pedro laid the pipe through the wall before pouring the concrete. Pedro knew I had bad knees and my wife a bad back so he added a fourth step so that the rise would be smaller and easier for us to navigate. None of the extras they performed for us were added to my bill. I paid the original estimate! I will recommend Pedro and his guys to anyone that wishes quality work. He says he wants to please you and he actually means it!

i just bought a 20 year old home with a walk out basement. The ground outside the door held water so it was not useable. I called five company's for bids, Barrera was in the middle on price. I looked on line to look at reviews and his was the best. Pedro and his workers lived up to the reviews. They had bad weather most of the time through the late winter and early spring. there were days we had hard rains Pedro came to the house and pumped out the water at the work site to get it ready for the next day, I highly recommend Barrera.

The walkout ranch we purchased recently had a back patio that was about to fall off the steep hillside behind our house. Pedro and his crew (Danny and Eduardo, plus a couple of others as needed) did a wonderful job doing the very tricky and difficult demolition and prep work, removing a sinking brick patio, old under-awning slab (around the spa), and removing the old retaining wall, re-doing the wall footers, and forming and pouring a wonderful new patio for us. Pedro was attentive, on time, and listened carefully, patiently making sure that we got all of the details under control (we are very picky). He answered all of our questions and saw to it that the job was done to specs. Their pricing was not cheap, but better than our other estimates. When they finished, a contractor doing work next-door, who had been watching them work, came over and gave Pedro his card, and took his, and complimented their work. I have absolutely no problem recommending this company to do similar kinds of work.

Personele was extremely polite and professional. Price beat all other estimates. The work was done on schedule even though I caused a small delay myself. Excellent craftsmanship.
