Arnebergs Landscaping and Construction poured a patio at my home on July 15th, 2022. During the leveling and curing process the crew failed to properly level the patio, where the edge of both sides of the patio angle towards the basement stairwell at the center of the house, causing water to flow into the basement stairwell, flooding the area outside the door during significant periods of rain. Additionally, there were several low spots following the curing process, great than half-inch, causing puddling everywhere. The contractor agreed to address the issues above, but only made one real attempt to come out and fix, which was to fill one of the worst low spots. The patch he provided lasted {August 22} one week before crumbling, leaving a large hole. The contractor was notified multiple times of the outstanding issues, to include a certified letter in November and with no response. Along with the poor craftsmanship, prior to and during the work, they missed promised dates repeatedly {poured 3 months after contract date}, would not answer my calls when no one showed up to work at my home to complete outstand tasks, left a bobcat chained to my tree for two weeks while the owner went on vacation, knocked over a 1/3 of the rock wall they built, which I was forced to rebuild, and only came to clean up after withholding the 2nd half of the payment. As stated earlier, once Dick was paid I never heard from him.

Dick Arneberg was very friendly and helpful. On Friday, April 11, 2022, he came to introduce us to his two workers. When we inadvertently locked ourselves out of our house, he drove 3 miles to our daughters house to tell her of our predicament so she could come with a key to get us into our house. The workers came on Monday, 11/7/2022, and worked hard to remove the old 61-foot fence, including a 4-foot gate, and install the new fence and gate in the same place.

Dick did a fine job with the fence. He was very friendly and personable. He took the time to make sure he understood what I needed.

Driveway was removed and replaced in Aug. of 2020. put sidewalk was also installed along side the house and around to the rear deck. A small bulkhead was poured on the west side of the project. The job was terrible. Cracks showed up the next day and the driveway was full of puddles. His employee tried to patch a couple of the bigger ones but did not make much improvement. Dick said he would do the job over and I agreed. The driveway, bulkhead, and part of the sidewalk was removed and redone. It was still full of puddles and cracks showed up within the first two weeks even though I ask for fiberglass in the mix and reinforcing wire in the concrete. After the snow and freeze we had that winter the top of the concrete started to chip off in several places. I called Dick and asked if he could come out and take a look and he said he stop by. He never showed up. I have called and texted since then but he never responds. I am very, very disappointed and am looking at what other options I have.

Dick and his team were great to work with. They took care of our house and during the pour and excavation. Tarps were put on the house so splash up did not affect our siding. Dick was very easy to talk to and work with. He is a total idea man who is not pushy at all. He loves to talk over ideas, he gave multiple options, quoted each thing out on its own, and left me free to pick what parts of the job we wanted to tackle. His team worked very hard and got things done in a timely fashion. In all honesty, he was the best pro we have ever hired for our home projects. I hope to work with him on future things we want to do for our home

    Great experience replacing a fence

Great quality work, very friendly and focused on ensuring a positive experience

We are very pleased with our job. We had a double driveway, a new walkway, and a large porch pored. The men did an excellent job. Dick has a group of hard workers working for him. Dick was very easy to work with, as were his workers. I would most definitely refer him to others and hire him again.
