Anytime Chimney

my wife and I hired the owner of this business, Ben, he initially appeared to be an honest and fair person so I requested a quote for Chimney cleaning, replace chimney cap and lining repair; he quoted me $2095. I asked for a written quote several times and I never received it. When he finished the job he stated he did not do the lining repair which was the most important reason for hiring him. He said another person could do it for another $650 I told him that he quote me $2095 for everything and I had confirmation of this in a text message and he quickly backtracked on what he told me. He complained about the numerus times he had to drive to my home in Humble to complete the job... well duh if it was too far he did not have to comment to doing the work which he half did and overcharged me.... I would not recommend this company

The person from Anytime Chimney was dishonest about the job he proposed he could do. First of all, he did not have a business card or anything to identify himself. He did not do what he said he would do. He said he could fashion me a unit where the fire would flame out of the rocks. I did not have to leave my old, 22-year-old, rusty-looking logs in there. Come to find out, he could not do it. He cleaned the fireplace glass, spray painted the upper rim black, vacuumed the dust, and threw some small blue glass-like rocks into the bottom of the fireplace. He had to go because it was starting to rain--- He said he would make it so the pilot would light the flame and I would finally see a flame in my fireplace. ---As soon as he left, it went out. I texted him and he said, "Oh well, that is happening." Just a shame and a lie from start to finish---for this he wanted $500.00.

Honest ,friendly ndly and would recommend him. Fair price for a job well done. Another contractor told me that I would have to rebuild which was not true. Ben came and cleaned my chimney. Took care of what was necessary on the crown and the exterior. I will be hiring him for years to come.
