Reviews
Write a ReviewJason and his crew were accessible, professional, and willing to work around my schedule. They had to work with the city urban forester, thanks to the giant tree in the swale, and jumped through all the hoops. And my sidewalk looks amazing!
Jason and the guys at American Construction Group went above and beyond to handle everything we wanted in our basement remodel. This was a small project with a lot of detail and they did an excellent job! Jason was available at all times to answer questions and did so in a thoughtful and professional manner. He helped us identify cost saving measures and he was honest and thorough about what he felt would be best for our project long-term. I highly recommend this business!
This was my first big home-reno project, one I knew I had to hire out. Of the three companies I interviewed, American Construction Group was the friendliest, the most informative, and the most cost-effective. Instead of hearing my ideas and shutting them down, Jason took the time to suggest alternatives, explain why certain things couldn't work in the space, and offer his plans to make the most of what I wanted. I felt that ACG stuck to their deadlines, maintained a clean workspace, and did their best to stay within my budget while providing the best and most work that they could. I do feel that, at times, certain changes or additional costs weren't communicated as clearly as they could've been. Specifically, one stage of the project required my upstairs bathroom walls to be opened up - I was told it would be restored, but there was no communication following that statement and I had to chase that fix down - and was then told it would cost extra money which I understand, but it was a little frustrating to be hit with another unexpected fee. I just feel like that could've been communicated to me when the wall was initially torn open. All in all, the work was fairly charged and completed well. The subs were respectful, efficient, and informative; the head contractors were helpful, easy to reach, and answered my questions. They did everything they could to stay within my budget and recommended certain things be hired out (like carpet from Lowe's) to save money on labor. I appreciate that sort of work-around quite a bit because it likely saved me thousands.
