Write a ReviewThey estimated the job at 1.5 days but, took nearly 4 days to complete the work. The tools used were inadequate for the job. The worker they sent was a very hard worker but, not too highly skilled.
I was notified by the city that I needed to replace a sidewalk block at a house I owned in Albuquerque due to a tree root heaving it. I tried calling a couple of places but none of them returned my call. Then I called Alliant. Luckily, I was planning to be in Albuquerque the next month (some friends occupy the house) so I arranged with Victor to come out to look at the job while I was in town. He was prompt and while we were looking at the sidewalk, he noticed the slab that sloped up from the driveway was starting to heave also, so I had them cut the sidewalk at the edge of the driveway and replace the heaving part. They also cut and removed the roots that had caused the problems. Since I live in another state, they suggested I leave two checks with my friends. I agreed to their price and Victor and two others did the work the next week. My friends said they were very nice and very hard workers. Because of the cold weather, they covered the wet concrete with plastic and barricaded the sidewalk. They came back when it was dry and the repair was perfect. There is a tree at the edge of the driveway that has really broken up the concrete and I need to have all the broken pieces removed so I will probably be calling them again this summer.
Knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I had a sunken living room (5 1/2 inches) filled in with concrete to the level of the entry and dining room. I was pleased that Victor listened to my concerns about absorption by the wallboard and placed a vapor barrier around the room. He and his crew were very efficient and careful with the newly painted walls. Very nice work.
This is a very professional company with great workers. Victor listens and works WITH you. A skillful job was performed in a timely fashion. I had a driveway section installed and a beautiful colored a stamped patio. Wish I had more money to get more work done by them!
Contractor was easy to communicate with, accomodating, and knowledged. I intend to call on them again for future work.
Great job! Always on time
Quality and price were excellent. The project started and finished on-time. There was a "gap" in the middle of the work, but I'm guessing this happened because demolition went much faster than expected. The concrete was poured and finished on-time on the third day, and the forms were removed a few days later. The crew was considerate of the neighbors. It was a pleasure to deal with Alliant.
Although I chose a different contractor to do the work (price), I thought Victor was polite, professional, on time, and had a clean appearance.
Did less square feet than agreed to. (2x16)
this change was presented to and approved of by the customer at the begining of the project.I did also call the customer to make good on the difference. she did not call me back.perhaps I'll try again.
very pleasant
