He did not take care to protect furniture, hard wood flooring. Cleaned his paint brushes in my kitchen sink and then left them there, he used a detergent based cleaner to mop up my pre-finished hard wood floor, which goes against the warranty on the floor. He sat some type of elctrical equipment on my hard wood floor without protecting the floor, he scratched up my floor and then denied he did so and never took responsibility althrough he finally agreed to repair the damage if when I used him for another project. When I finished the job the night before, she was very happy with the work. No complaints at all. Then the next morning there was a problem. I offered to fix everything that was wrong for free, so she would not have to pay another contractor. She refused my offers. So to aleviate any tension or bad blood, i sent her a check for $100.00 to cover repairs. If she does not wish to use me again, i can respect that, but quite frankly I do not want her business. All those things as far as not protecting the floor, yes I admit to doing, but it was not a problem until the next day. When all of this was going on not a word was spoken to me.
