Write a ReviewI called Albert Nahman on Monday 1/7/25 regarding 2 issues: replacement of a Hot Faucet unit and a leaking kitchen faucet. I received a live person response within 2 hours. The next day (today) a technician, Javier, came to our house. He quickly diagnosed the leaking kitchen faucet. He uninstalled / installed the new Hot Faucet unit. It turns out there was a secondary problem, a broken InSinkErator heater. Javier only charged us for a dispatch fee ($79) which was more than fair. The Company and Javier exceeded my expectations, and I give them a 5-Star Rating.
Stanley was very excellent at his job. He did the work he was in and out in no time very pleased with his service. If I need him again, I will reach out to you guys to hire him for other services.
I had routine maintenance done on my tank-less water heater. All went well as was expected from a reliable company.
They charge by the â time they think the job will take.â They charged $1100 for an hour and 10 minutes the plumber was at the apartment. We did get a &400 credit back but over $700 for that? I would not recommend this business for their unfair pricing.
The water main in the street is very difficult to turn on and off, even for PG & E. We wouldn't be able to do it in an emergency. Jason turned it off at the street, cut into the pipe leading into the house, and installed an on-off lever on the pipe. He also replaced part of the old pipe with a copper pipe leading into the pipe in the basement.
Very helpful and friendly
We recently moved in to a new house. I had two faucets that I wanted swapped for new ones that I had bought and a shower that had the hot and cold reversed. Two guys came and looked at what we needed done and shared a quote. $2,000 seemed like a lot of money just for the labor but I have limited experience with plumbers so I do no t have enough context to dispute it. I agreed and they did the work. One plumber installed our kitchen faucet backwards (handle on left, hand banging against the wall instead of rotating forward). I asked him to correct it and he did saying he was left handed. They completed the work in the two bathrooms and left. After they left, my husband told me they approached him after I approved the work and said they could not believe I would accept it since it was so expensive. They asked if he wanted to hire them on the side to do the work for cheaper. He asked what they charged and was outraged at the price. We believe they over charged us in an attempt to generate customers for their side business. The next morning I went to take a shower and realized the hot and cold had not been reversed. It operated the same as before the plumbers had come. At this point I feel ripped off and lied to by Albert Nahman plumbing. I called them to complain and they said a plumbing manager would contact me. He texted me later that day and I tried calling him back twice but he never answered or returned my calls. The following week I called their main number again to complain and was told the general manager would call me. That also never happened. Do not trust this company. They lie and overcharge you and make no effort to resolve complaints.
You don't have the categories to describe this job, so I tried to get close. This morning my tankless water heater stopped working and gave me an error message. It was easy to call the vendor, and they gave me a range of times today. I got a text message that he would arrive soon, and he did. He got right to work, did the trouble shotting, found a problem, and made a recommendation to me. The technician was friendly, competent, and informative. It is not clear whether my water heater will survive this problem, but he recommended that i wait and see, and if it breaks again to throw it out and install a new one. He showed me how to deal with it to get it working temporarily, if necessary. All in all, all my interactions with this company were very positive.
Angel was prompt, polite, and respectful. He got to work immediately and unclogged my kitchen sink. He ended up having to use the big snake and he got through the clog. I was extremely pleased with his work ethic and he didnâ t stop until the clog was gone. The only thing Angel didnâ t do was offer to wash all my dirty dishes I had piled up in my bathtub - LOL. I will definitely call Nahman again and recommend them to anybody having any problems with plumbing and other issues. Check them out, call them, make an appointment and you wonâ t be disappointed. I wasnâ t. Iâ ll be asking for Angel.
