Write a ReviewMy condos A/C had a minor drip leak. 8/16/2021: I called Air Pros to schedule a technician to come out and look at what the issue is since its a new A/C system. The scheduler on the phone told me it would be a $59 diagnosis fee and then the technician would inform me what the problem is and what the cost is to fix it. 8/17/2021: Weah (technician) comes to my condo to look at the issue. Spends around 15 minutes trying to find the drain system, going in each of my rooms to check out the sinks and showers. Spends around 10 minutes outside of my condo at his van to grab equipment. Then spends about 5 minutes on the actual A/C system. Then tells me his diagnosis was a clogged pipe and that he *cleared it out* and charged me $495. Mind you, my A/C is still leaking so his diagnosis was incorrect and he did not fix the issue. He also never asked if I wanted him to *fix* the issue; he was only hired to diagnose the problem. I paid so he would leave because I live alone and did not want to have any form of altercation. 8/18/2021: I call AirPros and ask to speak to the manager, Alan, about a refund since my A/C was still leaking. He denied the refund but said he would send another technician (Ralph) out to re-diagnose the issue and fix it. 8/30/2021: Ralph shows up to my condo and diagnoses the issue as a $12k problem so I tell him no thanks. Then mention that I should atleast get $436 ($495-$59 diagnosis fee) refund since the first technician misdiagnosed the problem and should not have worked on it in the first place. He agrees. He tells me he is going to write it in the notes and talk to Alan about the refund. To speak to Ralph s professionalism, or lack there-of, during his 20 minutes in my condo: he teased me and my boyfriend for wearing a mask and told us about a lady in the bar he met that sticks to magnets now post-vaccine. I did not even ask him to wear a mask in my condo despite the fact that Dallas county was under a mask mandate at the time. 8/31/2021: Alan (manager) approves my refund after I tell him my experience from the day before. 9/27/2021: I follow up since I still have not received my refund. I have written proof from this days conversation. Me: Hi this is McKenzi V, was my refund approved? Alan: Yes. You should be getting soon. 10/11/2021: Still have not received refund, Call the company and they look at my account and say no refund has been initiated or approved. I then realize that this company does not do what they promise and decided to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. The company has not responded to my cc companies claim so the bank awarded me a temporary credit in the meantime since they have until 12/18/2021 to respond. 12/2/2021: The company calls me and tells me that my balance is in the collections pile and asked why I disputed the transaction. I then call my bank frantic that I am being sent to collections and they tell me that its an empty threat and that the dispute is between the bank and the merchant and that they should not have even called me.
We had this company install indoor/outdoor AC Heating units. We asked for a SEER upgrade from 14 to 16, paid (a lot) extra for the 16 upgrades and the wrong outside unit was installed. Now, when we try to address the issue to get our money back NO ONE will talk to us. We cannot even get a corrected bill of sale showing the specific outside unit that was installed or the agreed upon warranty. ***BEWARE***
They came out and checked my system for me. Very reasonable
Ralph and Jose Rock
They were excellent. Customer service superb, service tech superb and the owner was awesome. I'd hire them again. And they were very reasonably priced.
The pre-screen tech was thorough. I really appreciated the time he took to explain to me, via pictures, the concerns noted with my HVAC system. Now, when the actual workers showed up, one did not wear a mask??, the other did. I did, vicariously, mention to the one guy about their company policy regarding the wearing of a mask. Guess he did not hear me. Contacted the office, despite the tech huffing outta my house, slamming my storm door, he returned with a mask. For my troubles, the company took off a small fee. Would I use them again, sure, but would not want that one tech back.
The first tech was not prepared and did not return as promised. It took awhile to get rescheduled due to some confusion with Home Advisers re payment. But when they did finally send the right tech with the right equipment, he was good enough to cancel out the previous hassles. He was friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, respectful, professional, informative, left things clean - really good guy. He even stayed a few minutes when the job was complete to jump the battery of my husband’s car. High marks .
These workers were very knowledgeable and professional. They made sure the house was clean before they left (duct cleaning can leave some mess when you take out the air vents to clean the ducts), brought me a beverage of choice upon their arrival, and showed me the work they did before they left. I felt safe around them and while it's not recommended I would have felt safe leaving the house temporarily and they would have respected my property. I highly suggest working with Air Pros, especially in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Good experience, They had to come out twice to replace parts in our furnace, I would use them again.
Do not trust their sales/scare tactics!! They came out to "service" our ac and furnace once a year but it was really lore of a sales/scare tactics that they used to pitch their sales of new equipment.
