Write a ReviewAesop's Gables took a $2,500 deposit check and then closed their doors without any previous notice. Provided no recourse.
First of all I am the father of the woman that had the work done. The first company my daughter and her husband dealt with was horrible. The entire staff had zero common sense and lied in every conversation. They had a new company take over in January and what a breath of fresh air. The young lady that runs the Dallas gig is a seasoned manager and it shows. She left no detail not addressed and made sure that when she said it would happen that it did. I watched my daughters stress level disappear as the new manager walked her through the process. The new manager is Kaylee and it also shows how much integrity she has brought to the party because she came to my daughters home to check on the progress and even returned when the work was over with this beautiful charcuterie board made on a small door with handles. Somehow she put my son in law and daughters family name on the board and we didnt even know it until we all devoured the snacks and we were elated! Kaylee's team showed up each day with matching shirts, clean shoes and manners that would make a parent proud. David and Isreal and Logan were the professional men that have made a difference in this situation by following the lead of their boss. It makes me happy to know that good leadership still exists and that this young lady cares and sets a strong example for her people. Someone should take good care of her because she leads with purpose and thats rare in todays world.
Good experience
Bath Planet of New Mexico was contracted to do a total remodel of both of our bathrooms at our home in northeast Albuquerque, NM. The contract totals $33,000.00. It took months to complete the total project because of the supply chain issues everyone was dealing with this past year. Finally, the project was completed and we have had the use of the bathrooms for a few months. While using the hall bathroom, the new toilet which they had recently installed moved about 25 to 30 degrees counterclockwise on the floor. I was shocked, and I immediately contacted them to come out and look at it. The project manager, and a family member in training, came out and examined it and pronounced that there was a faulty closet flange beneath the toilet. No kidding. He indicated that they were not responsible for faulty toilet flanges, although he agreed that someone should have seen the bad flange and brought it to our attention before they mounted the new toilet. He left with the toilet dismounted and said we could not use the new toilet that is now just resting on the floor. He supposedly contacted his boss. He called back to say that they would do nothing to correct the situation. They are, after all, not responsible for faulty toilet flanges even though it is impossible to do a correct toilet installation on a bad flange. If I wanted them to contract with someone else to fix it at my expense, he would be willing to contract with some real plumbers. Why didnt they do that before they mounted the toilet? Instead, they ignored it. I am out the use of our toilet in the hall bathroom which is what we would have our guests use... It will now cost me to contract a professional to fix their mismanaged installation. I am beyond irate. So much for Bath Planets warranty on a $33,000.00 project. Beware of Bath Planet. I will continue to search for someone in the company who hopefully may care.
Really go over the contract before you sign it. There things that were not explained 100%. The delivery and work were not done to the expected results. I signed the contract in October 2021 and as of to today 4/28/2022 my shower is still not completed.
Where to start. Signed contract August 2021. Repairs were to be completed by Thanksgiving. In January of 2022 work started out wrong. Bathtub to shower conversion. Products were ordered wrong. Finely In April work started again. There are still items that need to be completed. Their customer service was terrible. I got the run around all the time. I tried to reach the owner, but was referred to someone else. This was a very expensive job and it certainly was not a smooth process. I will not recommend this company. It will be a year in August without the master shower. No consideration to compensate us for the major delays. They want their final payment and the job is not completed.
Great work and friendly service. The work was done quickly and professionally.
I had my tub, shower, and floors replaced in my bathroom. David, and Jason did an amazing job. They went above and beyond my expectations, and were very professional. My bathroom is beautiful. I would definitely recommend them. Thanks again Jason, and David. You guys do outstanding work!!
I had Bath Planet remodel my bath for a living-in-place. Walk in shower, new counter tops (2 bathrooms). They also installed my new toilet. Josue was my salesman. He is a wonderful salesman. He was on top of my changes (things I thought of later) and was my go to person because office staff does not return phone calls, even when they call you and request a call back. I consistently had to go through Josue. Kyle was my installer. Yea Kyle! You did a beautiful job. I love the way the bathroom came out! Your attention to detail and being a perfectionist shows. The young man who did the texturing could use a little more practice. I suggest that when/if your hire Bath Planet, you ask precise questions. Be detailed. Nail them down on install date. I also had 2 bath windows replaced. Amanda kept me informed of what was going on with the install. Thank you Amanda. That was great. I wasn't kept wondering what was going on, Thank you Victoria for also keeping me updated on the final finishing touches. I rated a yes as a recommendation, but will add its really a maybe. I did not like having to deal with some of the office staff.
Hello Peggie, thank you for your review. we are very happy that over all you had a good experience. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a satisfactory time with some of our office staff and would really appreciate your feedback in this regard. Please call 505-421-0981 and I would love to see what we could do better in the future.
Took a week longer as expected. Initial installers were not up to the job. After working 4,days for a 3 day job, my roommate asked them to leave on Saturday evening. Not only were the installers not close to being finished, some of the work was sloppy. Following Tuesday, the job was looked at by a rep from Bath Plant. The following day, Jason came out to finish the job. He had to tear out some of the work already done. Jason completed the job in three days. Work is basically satisfactory. Inquired with Thomas as to how Axiom/Bath Planet is going to reimburse us for the additional time it took to complete the job. I was suppose to hear back from Thomas on June 23. After not hearing, I placed two calls last week without hearing back from Thomas. Will be interesting to see if our time is worth anything to Bath Planet. I will report how things turn out.
