They charged us 1650 $ in place for 750$ citing that the person who took the list of inventory did not have couch and dining table listed. They moved dining chairs and one half of the couch. Then a guy from a customer service called and literally bullied us to pay extra. We did but this was an added stress to us. Bullies and cheaters

Terrible they asked $600 extra what we asked for. We`re waiting for the police. And they were trying to rub us. They were supposed to come at 11 and didn't come till 1:30 late. They`re trying to run away with the furniture.

I called them to move my entire 1100 sq ft 2bed 1bath another room (bedroom clothing/boxes), they gave me 1400 quote. However they sent a 26ft box truck. Before they even started removing anything from my place I told them that wont be big enough. They continued with it and had to rearrange the box truck multiple times, costing more man hours? in the end we couldn?t fit everything, including my couch. We ended up having to call one of our dads with his truck and trailer to move the couch. They charged me for that time too. When moving everything in and out the team lead didn?t help his other two movers at all. At the end of the day two of them almost started fighting in my driveway because of that. This is after charging me another 1k on top of their quote. Had they had the right size truck and all the movers helping, everything would?ve been on time. Funny thing also- I went with them because during the call I asked if they would be able to move my snake cages and I was told yes. As they packed them the owner told them no unless I accept they ?may get broken in transit?. This is after he came to my location and took a promo video (without our permission). Don?t get me wrong the movers were super nice, and one of them (the lead) was smooth tongue saying he?s ?on my side? in the situation, but still no one did anything to mitigate the over charge.

To clarify, we dispatched the largest truck in our fleet?a 26-foot box truck?which is typically sufficient for a move of the size described in your original inventory. Unfortunately, there were significantly more items than what was listed during the initial estimate, which impacted the space required and extended the duration of the move. In such situations, the next available option would be to send a second truck, which adds cost but ensures completion. Regarding your specialty items, such as the snake cages, our team always aims to handle every item with care. However, due to the fragile nature of certain belongings, we may require a waiver if there is a risk of damage, and we do our best to communicate that clearly and upfront. We?d also like to clarify that any promotional video recorded during your move featured only the owner and the moving crew?no customer images or footage were used. We appreciate your recognition of our movers? professionalism under pressure and understand your concerns about the overage. Greg was very helpful at Advance moving company. I am over road truck driver so was very patient with me to make time to sit down and workout is scheduled so that I can get my home move from Bolingbrook to Plainfield so far so good. and the price was right

Advanced Moving & Storage were very helpful in a time of need. We were in a time crunch in finding movers and they came through! Tyler was very professional and explained the process and was easily accessible for any questions. They handled and packaged my wife’s furniture with care. Their pricing was amazing for the quality service they provided. In a stressful time of move, they definitely eased the stress off my shoulders. Thank you AM&S! I would definitely recommend you guys to others!
