Ernst arrived on time. He placed tarps around my fireplace to protect my carpet and flooring. I told him the fireplace would not start so he assessed the situation and explained what needed to be done. He made the necessary repairs, removed the fake logs and all of the lava rock and cleaned the entire fireplace plus the three glass panels. He cleaned up after himself and showed me how to startup the fireplace. I was very satisfied with the work that was done and would highly recommend Ernst for your fireplace repairs and maintenance.

One company said I needed a whole new fireplace without looking at it. And it was more of a minor fix but you would have to come and look at it to diagnose it, which was done by Ernest.

Hired for wood-burning stove cleaning and inspection. Ernest was the absolute best. He took before and after pictures, kept everything completely tidy while cleaning, and really put in the labor and education needed on how to properly use and maintain. Would recommend to anyone. Ernest is a kind, thoughtful and thorough professional. He is very meticulous with his work. Our chimney looks wonderful. When he came in to take care of the fireplace he covered all surfaces and double covered the floor. He wore protective gear which her took off before cleaning up, so he did not get anything on any of our carpet or furnishings. When he was finished everything was once again neat an tidy. The fireplace looked great and I am no longer afraid to use it. The before and after pictures were amazing and show what a good job he does. You may find someone to do the job for less money but I don't know that youbwill get the same quality of work or the same care and attention to detail. This process took hours and it show with the end result. After speaking with several other vendors on the phone, I knew Ernest was the man for the job within a few moments of our conversation. If you choose Ernest, you will be very pleased with both his work ethic and the end result.

I had a chimney that had never been cleaned so it was pretty bad. Ernest was very organized and did his best to keep everything clean. He took pictures of before and after and explained everything to me. He installed a chimney cap for me and clearly gave me pricing before the job. I would recommend him to everyone. He knows his trade and answered all my questions patiently.

I hired this company to clean and inspect my fireplace, since it hadnt been cleaned since who knows when and it was Christmas time! Earnest was so professional, and thoroughly knew his trade well. He cleaned everything in the firebox and cleaned up so well, you wouldnt know a sweep was there. His prices were the lowest I have found, so I guess I will be going back with Ernest from now on!!! One other thing that I feel important. Ernest is one of the most gentle-hearted and kind person you would ever want to meet, yet he stays on track of his work. Just cant go wrong hiring him for all your chimney needs!!
