Our pro was nice enough but forgot to call that our dishwasher pump was not in and we waited hours for him and he did not communicate with us. Home Advisor charged us for a completed job and it was never done. We cancelled the entire project, notified HA and they still charged us.

The repairman told me my washing machine was doing what it was supposed to do If that was the case I would not have called for a repairman. He did nothing but using the flashlight on his phone to look around. Then he said he would come back later if the machine still was not working right, which he did. At that visit, he told us he would see if he could find a part to repair it with. He called back later and said it might take TWO WEEKS to get the part. Ninety-nine dollars for NOTHING. A neighbor recommended calling Sears. The repairman arrived two days later with proper identification and a tool bag and went to work to diagnose the problem and explained to us what was wrong with our washer. He told us it would cost as much to fix it as it was to buy a new one. He then advised us what to look for in a good washer and what to stay away from. He was knowledgeable and really did try to help us. His cost was $89. My husband said the next time an appliance starts to break down, we are just going to skip the repairman and get a new appliance.

DO NOT USE THEM, they took a deposit for a part and never come back to put it in and refused to ship me the part. This company is crooked and everyone should stay as far away from them as possible. If you run into Joe, Alex, Mario, or whatever name he uses, these are the names associated with staff. A formal BBB complaint was filed for an F rated company... Home Advisor should ban them from their site.

Obviously the technician knew it was an easy problem to fix because it only took less than 15 minutes to fix but still charged me $200 for labor.

Everybody I spoke with from the customer service rep to the repair tech that serviced my oven was very difficult to understand due to thick accents. The repair tech English was so hard to understand that it made doing business very frustrating when trying to have simple conversations. A repair part needed to be ordered and I was originally quoted a 2 day turn around. After a week, I had to call them and they were able to come out the next day. All in all, did they repair my oven, yes. Was it done when they said it would be done, no A swing and miss I will continue to use HomeAdvisor, but I will need to do even more research on the pre-screened experts.
