Write a ReviewWork was done to replace broken and old concrete driveway and installed Armatec Brick Pavers. 400 square feet took 4 days to complete. Saif responded quickly to project request and was very knowledgeable. I received many compliments on my driveway and would highly recommend.
Pleasant, professional and on time
service was good, on time and courteous.
First off just so you know, I had hired A K Azad Construction Company in the past in 2011, 2013, he did do a guarantee repair in 2016. Which they did a great job, but apparently all good things must come to an end. I hired them again to do some work, They came in to do some Ice and Snow Removal for me on the roof and cleaned the gutter out of the ice and snowþ but in doing this he and his helper were throwing or pitching it off the roof which in turn broke the back window of my car dented the roof which is what broke the back window, shattered my windshield in the front, dents all over the car (passenger quarter panel, side window panel, door. It also took down the electrical to my detached garage, and damaged the bar-b-que grill (dented the top and broke the right side with the burner). Which I am sure was an accident. I paid them but they did not give me a receipt and he said he would email it to me. (which he never did I am guessing because of the damage that he did). They never made any mention that they broke my car back window or took down the power lines. I texted him and told him as well as called and told about my back window for my car. (which I noticed right after they left. as I went into or tenants apartment and looked at their ceiling and looked out the back window and noticed the damage to the car's back window. When I went outside to look at the damage that is when I noticed that the power line to the garage was also damaged. When I noticed that the other things that were damaged. I called him and told him he was going to have to come back to the house and take a look at the damaged. Which he didþ but he only wants to pay for 1/2 of the damage to my car window and fix the electrical line. (What about the other damage?) None for which is my fault that it happened as I told him my car was parked in back. I understand accidents happen and I am sure this was an accident but I should not have to pay for their mistake. I have pictures, text messages, and video of the damage. When they found this out all of a sudden They said they were doing me a favor and not sending me a receipt.
I don't know this person. She probably hired some one with similar construction name. There are at-least three contractor I know who's company name is Azad construction Please ignor this review as this is not my client
Work was done to my satisfaction with one small exception I.e.there were lines left in cement where workers used boards to input flag lines and expansion joints. Price was comparative to other contractors nothing special.
I hired AK Azad to replace a concrete sidewalk which had been uprooted by tree growth. He replied promptly to my initial inquiry. I sent photographs and he called back, outlined the basics of the job, then arranged to come in person to give a written estimate. He then drew up a written contract. He obtained the permits, then completed the job about a week an a half later after obtaining the proper permits. The job itself was excellent, very professional. He did the job without removing, harming or cutting the tree. He did the entire sidewalk which was complicated because the original cuts did not match up with my property line. So he had to create new cuts. He installed the entire sidewalk in front of my property. I would recommend this company. I honestly can't say he was the cheapest. Another contractor that came out, offered about $400 cheaper, but did not take measurements, would only do the part of the walk affected by tree growth (not the entire walk) and told me I would have to get the permits myself. So you be the judge. For my money, I would rather pay a little more and have it done right then done again. During and after the job he answered all my questions and explained the entire process.
They were professional and honest, I was very happy with their work.
A wonderful experience from beginning to end! Saif is a pleasure. He doesn't only want the job done but he goes out of his way to get it done to your liking. Highly recommended.
Thank you! Terry
