"During our extended summer our AC unit decided to act up. I was at a lost as to who to call and a friend of mine recommended JDL HVAC. when I called Joe answered the phone "listened to every word I said patiently" and made an appointment. Joe called 15 minutes prior and arrived early, he then diagnosed the problem. We sat down and he explained exactly what the problem was and what was needed to repair it and gave me an estimate. Afterwards he went right to work and surprisingly charged me below what he estimated which was very surprising. I have never had that happen before and he was willing to schedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule.. Joe followed up a couple of days later by calling and asking if we were satisfied with the service. "Kenny arrived at my home from K and K to install the ice maker. I think he had the job completed in about 45 minutes but initially told me 1 hour. I had an existing water supply and he connected that for me also. He was very professional, informed me of the cost that I agreed to pay. This was a great customer service experience. If I needed a major appliance repair, I would definitely use this company again. I got it done when I wanted so I am more than pleased. I know it does not always happen that way."

"I started getting quotes on inspecting & replacing my sump pump weeks ago. It was running but didnt seem to be draining. Got a couple estimates from bigger names and took a chance for one more from Mar-Tin Plumbing & Drain, LLC. I'm glad I did. He arrived early and was responsive to all my calls and messages. He looked at the sump pump and knew immediately it wasn't emptying correctly and quoted a very reasonable price for a new pump and installation. He had all the materials in his truck and got to work immediately within 10 minutes. While replacing the pump he brought up that the drain pipe just ran randomly into the ground with no clear endpoint with no idea how far or where it was emptying. I was going to mention to this him but he brought it up first. He said he would check it (as it wasn't really supposed to be like that) and given the age of the house its possible the sump pump failing and not working efficiently arose because the drain terminating like that could lead to blockage. Suffice to say he was correct and showed me how the drain was obstructed and the flow of water was being reversed. He explained to me in detail why I should have the drain piping redone but didn't push. He quoted me a separate quote on him redoing the drain pipe so it drained correctly and farther away from the house. It was also a very reasonable price compared to what others had given me for the same issue. He said if I didnt want to do it today to think on it and call him and he would come back out. No pressure. I decided save myself the trouble and asked him to do the additional work. All in all it took him about a little under 3 hours and he was fast efficient and communicated before, during, and after everything was completed. He even explained how the various drains in the basement and exterior stairwell worked together and informed me that I should clean out all the debris that had gathered before the amount of rain this weekend and also gave advice on what type of flooring we should redo our basement with. Excellent work and customer service, I'm glad to have found a local plumbing company I can support that offers such quality work."
