"We chose to have C & J Basement Solutions complete a crawl space encapsulation at our new home after speaking with several other companies. From our first conversation with Patrick, to our consultation with Ron and our three awesome installers, this was one of the best experiences in the service arena for homes. Ron explained each portion of the process and answered all of our questions. Mike, Matt and Bob arrived at the specified time, giving us a call before arrival. They were prepared to keep our home as clean as possible with the snow and wet weather by placing drop cloths on the areas they would be using. To my surprise and delight, they shoveled my entire driveway and walkway to the house! It had snowed during the night and I hadn't gotten to it yet. Wow! How incredibly considerate and kind! The crew got right to work, and it was apparent they had worked together a lot and they knew what they were doing. I asked questions along the way and they showed no annoyance as they answered each question. As they completed the encapsulation they gave me some additional information on what to expect and what not to expect. Our family now has a dry warm and clean crawl space. "The Installation crew was punctual, courteous, professional and their workmanship was phoenominal! We had a TOTAL bathroom remodel done for two bathrooms! Master Bathroom involved installing a new shower, toilet, sink, vanity, lights and vent fan! The guest bathroom involved installing a jacuzzi tub, sink, vanity, toilet, lights and vent fan. Plus new flooring in both bathrooms! This company is the real deal! I highly recommend them for any home project. Their warranty is beyond compare!"

"I am a school teacher and needed to have my kitchen sink and pipes replaced. I live in a 75 year old home that I love and after a complete renovation since 1950. M and M came out the next day after I called. Seth came and worked on my pipes but found they needed to be replaced. He tried multiple times to work with the old galvanized pipes. Today, Sunday, December 18, they came out to replace the pipes completely. This time, Martin and Esmerelda came out and explained everything in understandable language what they were going to do and why. As a customer, they put me at ease and answered all my questions. They also gave me a discount price for the clean out of the lower pipes. This company answered each of my calls right away without any wait time and Seth called me later that evening to make sure I had recieved the call for Sunday service. Also, Martin and Esmerelda stay after the job was finished to make sure all my questions and concerns were answered. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE you will get with this company."

"The plumber was awesome. Was there in less than 2 hours and fixed the leak in 30 minutes. Made kind of a mess cutting a hole in the ceiling, but got out my sweeper and cleaned everything like he had never been there (minus the hole). They also have a division of the company called Right Restoration which brought in fans and a dehumidifier to dry everything out. The work was fine, but the customer service was sub-standard. The equipment ran for 3 days. They ignored my request on when to come to check on it. I could not schedule someone to fix the ceiling until they billed because without their charge, I did not meet the insurance deductible. They said they would handle the billing with the insurance company; I gave them a week then I had to call 3 times to make sure they got the bill to them; it took 10 days and they would not call me back. They were supposed to send me a copy of the bill. Still waiting after 3rd request."

"Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I took multiple bids on my basement project across basement companies in Columbus. Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. Rating of sales 5/5 Rating of the installation crew 5/5 Rating of management 5/5 Rating of mid-state as a company : 10/5 I do not believe I would have received this level of responsiveness of any of the competitors. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done. In my experience, they offer the most fair pricing."

When I described my problem to the person from Rescue Rooter who called, he knew what model of water heater I had just based on the description of the problem. He told me all I need to do is clean the flame sensor annually, and I didn't need to replace anything. I wish the company I had look at it 2 years ago (not thru ServiceMagic) would have been as honest and not charged me $150 for a part. I will call Rescue Rooter when I need anything in the future, as well as ServiceMagic."
