"I contacted 3 contractors listed on HomeAdvisor. Tim at Tri State was the ONLY one to call me back. He not only called me back but did so within the same day of my leaving the message. He rearranged his schedule to meet me at a time that worked for me. He also was able to fit my job into his very busy schedule. He replaced an exterior door, repaired drywall AND plaster, and cleaned my box gutters. All this was done in a very timely manner and the clean up when the job was finished was top notch! "Alan was so very helpful. I have had my wood burning stove cleaned once before. The service provider knew nothing about wood burning stoves. He wasn't able to answer any of my questions nor did he do anything to clean my system. Alan was so polite and knowledgeable. This go around, I did some online research so I was more informed on how my system should be cleaned, however it was not needed. Alan not only educated me on my system, he went above and beyond with cleaning it. He took all of the pipes on the inside of the house apart, took them outside to clean them (have I mentioned that he put drop clothes down inside the house to ensure everything stayed clean). Went on the rood to inspect all the parts. I appreciated the time and patience Alan had to ensure the safety of me using my wood burning stove and my understanding of the general maintenance I can do to keep everything working. "They came out to deal with squirrels going in and out of my chimney. They discovered that the squirrels were getting in because the chimney had been damaged, providing the squirrel's with access. The problem had obviously been going on for a while. Cleaning out the bottom of the chimney as part of the inspection, we removed two five gallon buckets of sticks and leaves. They gave me a written quote describing the work and corrected my issues within the week. Work was well done, and they cleaned up perfectly. Highly recommended!"
